1975 B.A. Fine Art, State College Buffalo, N.Y. 

1978 Visual Studies Workshop, MFA in Photographic Studies, SUNY at Buffalo.

1975-82, member of Hallwalls Gallery, a non-profit artist run gallery in Buffalo NY. 

    1977-78, Director of CEPA Gallery, a non-profit photography gallery and workshop in Buffalo, NY.

1980-81, documentary photographer The Kitchen, NYC. Photographed dance, performance art and music concerts.

TEACHING:    2005-2011  Adjunct Instructor Digital Photography, New York City College of Technology

internship:  1977   National Endowment for the Arts Internship, Washington DC.

Memberships: 

1998-present, founding member of Culture & Conflict Group. Culture & Conflict Group is an artist’s collective formed with the intent to explore the intersection between art and politics in contemporary society. Culture & Conflict group has curated four group exhibitions: British Architecture in Ireland, the Puffin Room NYC 1998. Ambiguous Authority, Beacon Street gallery in Chicago 2000, Unlimited Partnerships, Cepa Gallery Buffalo, NY 2000. Settlement, Gallery 400, University of Illinois at Chicago 2002, Eden Place Arts Center, Derry, Northern Ireland January 2003, Galway Art Center, Galway, Ireland, April 2002.

2002-2005, member of 16 Beaver Group, an artists collective located at 16 Beaver Street, NYC.
